California Adventure

We traveled to Visalia, California last week to visit Uncle Brian, Auntie Krissa and Cousin Kailey. Grandma Myrene came with us too! We spent the week relaxing outside in the sun, eating great meals made by Brian, celebrating Jeff & Krissa's birthdays and going to the beach!
Jenna did so good on the plane and only cried for a few minutes. I feel so blessed that I have a good baby. I am hoping she will stay this good for our two flights to Hawaii this fall (fingers crossed).
It was so great to be around family and see the two girls interact. I know they will be great friends just like the older Moller cousins.

Kailey loved to "help" when Jenna cried. She would bring her a blanket, pacifier or toy in hopes that Jenna would stop crying. She would tell us, "Jenna crying?" It was the cutest thing. She loved to give her kisses and hugs. She also loved to pet Jenna on the head :)
As Jenna turned 5 months this past week, we noticed some changes in her. She now smiles and giggles a lot more than she used to. It is so exciting to see what kind of person she is turning out to be.
She tends to grab everything in sight and puts into her mouth...
Future Starbucks drinker?
Including her thumb!
Jenna doesn't want to roll over (only when mad), but she loves to stand!
Jenna loved the beach and the sand between her toes
It was a great trip and I look forward to many more trips in the future!

3rd Anniversary & a Photo Shoot

We finally were able to celebrate our anniversary together this year! Our first anniversary I was traveling to Sweden and our second Jeff was working. So this year we decided we were actually going to spend time together. Uncle Alan, Aunt Alona and Cousin Erin offered to watch Jenna while we went and had a wonderful meal out.

Taryn made us our own wine for our wedding and we finally were able to enjoy it this year! Jeff gave me a beautiful bouquet of flowers and I gave him roses. Jenna was so curious about what was on the table I decided to let her take a closer look.
Can I have some Mom?
After taking the above pictures I decided it was time for a photo shoot...

Since it was a warm sunny day we decided to take it outside...

It was a great anniversary and a great day for taking pictures!

First/Second Mother's Day

This was really my second Mother's Day...my first with Jenna outside my womb. I found out last year that I was pregnant the day before Mother's Day. What a difference a year can make...
Mother's Day 2010
Jeff and I chose to celebrate the news to ourselves last year, but this year we decided to celebrate Mother's Day in the Valley and surprise our Moms. We spent Saturday at the Camano Island beach cabin with Grandma Myrene, Grandpa Glenn and G.G. It needed to be opened for the summer. It was a rainy cold day so we spent the few hours inside. Although it probably was colder inside than out. We tried to turn the power on and found out later it was turned off for some reason. We decided to make the best of it and bundled up!

The temperature inside the cabin!

We then traveled to the other side of the Island to spend Saturday evening and Sunday with Grammy, Papa, Uncle Wes, Auntie Tuse and of course "Uncle" Oskar.

It was a perfect "second" Mother's Day and I am so grateful to be a mother to a beautiful little baby girl!
