Easter Part 1--The Egg Hunt

There are so many cute pictures that I have to do this Easter blog in a few parts. Our Easter weekend started by joining my mom's group for a Toddler Easter Egg Hunt at a nearby park.
Checking out the sites
This dog is a lot different from Oskar
This "hunt" meant we threw a bunch of eggs in a circle and the kids crawled or walked to them.
Each mom was responsible for bringing 12 plastic eggs filled with healthy snacks i.e. puffs, cheerios, etc. The babies/toddlers kind of figured it out but would get focused on opening the found egg instead of hunting for more. After they found some we sat them all together with the eggs and let them eat their goodies.
Eating!
After several minutes Jenna got bored and decided to take advantage of the wide open space.
Then some flowers caught her attention...
Remembering Hawaii with her flower
One of the mom's made every child a cookie with their initial on it. She is amazing and Jenna loved her cookie!
It was such a fun day and glad we were able to get together. I look forward to next year when those toddlers will be running!!
