Someone is ready for some Cougar Football

As the daughter of Jeff Moller, it is a must to wear the signature crimson and gray as Cougar Football season approaches...even if it involves a tutu!

Excitement every Coug fan has before the season

Paul Wulff, you better make this season count or you're out!

I'm ready for a pass

There is no pee in my pool

With the weather in the 80s (and a few 90 degree days) we decided to get Jenna her own pool. We thought that she would love to cool off no matter what the temp of the water...we were wrong. She likes the water temp to be in the 80s (reminds me of her Great Grandma Gail). We did manage to get a few good pictures before the meltdown happened.

Before the Pool Party
I did try a few days later after the pool water was able to heat up and we had a good time. There are no pictures of this event because I had to hold her the whole time. The bottom of the pool is a little uneven and the two times I let go Jenna did a face plant into the water. It scared her a little, but thankfully there were no tears. I think this is because at our weekly swimming class she has been under water twice (for a brief second) and has been fine. I hope we can get a few more days out of this pool before it gets put away for next year.

My first ski boat ride

Uncle Alan invited us to spend the day with him, Aunt Alona and cousin Erin a few weeks ago to celebrate his birthday. We first went out to breakfast then wandered down to the Vancouver Farmer's Market. On the way we stopped in a cute kids clothes and toy store. Jenna tried on a few hats and when Alan & Alona saw her in the pink baseball cap and they wanted to buy it for her! She loves it and doesn't mind it. I love when she wears it and the bill gradually turns sideways. It is so cute (pictures of the hat below).

We then went on his boat to spend some time cruising around the lake in Camas. It happened to be the hottest day of the summer (93 degrees). It was nice to be on the boat but it was too hot to just sit so we had to keep moving. Jenna was not a fan of wearing her life jacket in that heat. We eventually had to take it off to give her sweaty body a break (when the boat was not moving of course).

Not a happy baby
We are so lucky to have family close by...especially an uncle with a boat :)

The park is the place to be

These warm summer days bring us to park almost daily. I like to walk there in the mornings so I don't have heat stroke, but Jenna likes to sleep during the morning walk and misses on out the swings. I even tried to wake her last week because I knew she would love it...but she was out. There was day last week when Jeff got home unusually early so we decided to take a family walk to the swings. Jenna LOVED it and was so happy to show her daddy the park. She got to try out the teeter-totter and even went down the slide! I love when we get to spend time as a family.
Jenna loves when I blow bubbles...

Baptism

Jenna was baptized a few weeks ago by Pastor Kevin (who married us). Here are some photos from the day:

Just another day at the park...with a few geese

Since weather has been so wonderful, Jenna and I have been walking to the park daily. A few days ago we were sitting on our blanket minding our own business when all of the sudden a herd of geese come waddling our direction. At first I didn't think they would get that close to us but I was wrong. When I saw they were several feet away and their beaks were flapping like Jenna was lunch I decided it was time to pack up and go to the other end of the park.
We headed towards the swings....Jenna's favorite!
After the swings we played with some toys...
...then I heard a familiar honking sound and saw the geese were headed our direction again! I took the hint that it was time for us to head home.
Geese = 1 and Jill & Jenna = 0

Swim Class

Jenna and I have been going to a baby swim acclamation class for the last month and a few weeks ago Grandma Myrene was able to come and watch. I was lucky to find out about this class through a play group I joined. The pool is a 5 minute drive from our house and there are usually only 5-7 other babies there each week. The class is supposed to get the babies ready for swim lessons and to not be afraid of the water. We sing songs, paddle our arms and kick our legs...Jenna likes to suck her thumb and watch everyone. I am so lucky that she is not one of those babies that cries and is terrified (just ask my mom how fun I was when she took me to a pool for the first time). I look forward to this 30 minutes every week and I think Jenna does too!
