12 Month Stats

We went to the doctor on 1/5/12:
Weight: 19.7 lbs. (45th percentile)
Height: 27 inches (3rd percentile)
Head: 17.3 inches (20th percentile)
I expressed my concerns about Jenna only having 2 teeth and she said that was fine and she would probably be getting the rest soon and all at once...yikes! The lack of teeth has not helped in the learning to feed herself. She likes to pick things up herself but they must be small. She has a tendency to fill her mouth up with a lot of food and then gag. A few scary moments has resulted in this. She loves to eat! But her food can't be smooth and then have chunks in it. She will gag or cough or act like she is chocking. All of these are so fun :) We have tried giving the spoon but she is not interested. The doctor explained that some kids like to do everything themselves and some want you to do everything for them (i.e. Jenna)! Overall it was a great appointment and I was assured that she looked wonderful and was right on track (sigh of relief).
Enough of the pictures...FEED ME
