Santa is not so bad...especially when you know him!

Every child's dream (at least it was mine) is to be able to know Santa personally and he know you. I was told that Santa sent many of his helpers to the malls and other locations during Christmas time to get the children's lists and report back to him. We are honored to know one of Santa's helpers on a personal level. Unfortunately, we are sworn to secrecy on his identity until he hands down the suit to someone else or Santa picks a replacement (kind of like when Butch T. Cougar graduates from WSU; then you get to find out who he is). :)

Anyways...Jenna got to meet Santa and as I expected there were tears. We tried to explain that he was friendly and only wanted to know what she wanted for Christmas, but she wasn't buying it. I am sure thought we were leaving her there as she clung tightly to me. When the tears dried she was curious and wanted to keep a watchful eye on this white bearded fellow. We let her watch as other children sat on his lap and took their picture. Then it was our turn and the tears came back and we got a few pictures and we even got a family picture (once she was calmed down).
One day Jenna will look back at these and laugh and maybe then we will tell her who Santa's helper is!
